Just a few years back a bulky laptop that would provide you with two hours of better life was cutting edge. When you wanted to use it you would have to wait 3 – 5 minutes for the thing to boot up. Laptops are heavy, hot and just not convenient. Laptops are still widely used and definitely have a place however tablet computers such as the iPad, motorola zoom, Samsung Galaxy and most recently the Kindle Fire have made their way into our lives and our hearts.
Living With A Tablet Computer
After owning one for nearly two years, it's hard for me to imagine living without a tablet computer. I carry one with me all day, every day. At any moment I can flip it open, turn it one and search the web, view a video, take notes or play a game. I love to read e-books, listen to car talk on Saturday mornings, music at other odd times and listen to audio books through my Audible app. I usually read for a few minutes before bed and set the tablet on the floor next to me. In the morning, it's there waiting for another day of portable, powerful and convenient computing.
